Dean’s List (Fall Semester 2023-Present):
- I have been awarded this position each semester for maintaining my 4.0 GPA.
MTSU Trustee Scholarship (August 2023-Present):
- I received this award for having a 30-33 on the ACT and having a 3.5+ GPA.
- I receive $5,000 per academic year by maintaining a 3.5+ undergraduate GPA.
William J. Connelly Writing Award – 2nd Place (April 2025):
- I received this award for demonstrating excellence in student writing at the undergraduate level.
- I was awarded for my work on my research publication, “Off With Her Head! An Analysis of Female Awakening Through Social Deviance in Lynn Nottage’s Las Meninas.”
- I received $300 and an award certificate.
Charles E. Ray Scholarship (April 2025):
- I received this award for excellence in creative writing
- I submitted three poems, titled “Two Humours,” “Becoming Her,” and “Rhythms Tapped on Deaf Ears.”
- I received a one-time $2,000 scholarship for the following Fall 2025 semester.
NOMINATIONS
Richard C. and Virginia Peck Award (October 2024):
- The Peck Award is the highest award in the Department of English for student excellence.
- I was nominated by a faculty member for a continued demonstration of excellence in my coursework and department.
Bene S. Cox Excellence in Tutoring Award (March 2025):
- I was nominated for this award for a continued demonstration of effort and excellence in my work as a University Writing Center Peer Tutor.
