SOCIAL AND BEHAVIORAL RESPONSIBLE CONDUCT OF RESEARCH
I received this training to conduct anonymous surveys and interviews of students or faculty. I learned basic research ethics, such as ensuring anonymity, reducing risk for participants, providing informed consent, and using research materials in a manner that will not harm participants.
STUDENTS CONDUCTING NO MORE THAN MINIMAL RISK RESEARCH
I received this training to conduct minimal risk research on MTSU students and faculty. I additionally completed an internet-based research module. Through these trainings, I learned how to ensure that research participants will not be subject to harm or unethical research practices. I further learned how to ensure that my internet-based research will not jeopardize my participants and the ethicality of my research.
